We can’t wait to see you all back in Hungary and this year we will be combining the skills camp and skills boogie into one week of fun & progression.

• DZ brief
• We jump, the package includes 24 jumps from the Mi8
• We aim to fly in groups of 4:1 coach ratio (unless you register for the Big way belly group of course in which case we are aiming for sequential 26 ways)**
• We aim for loads being pre-manifested the night before so we all know what is happening and can concentrate on the jumping, learning, and having fun.
• There will be breakfast lunch and dinner included.
• Coaches will rotate after a few days so you can learn from a few different organisers.
• Friday Night we may well have a drink or two.

A bit about the DZ & accommodation
Everything is there for you; we jump, eat, sleep all on the DZ and have the place for ourselves for the week.
The Heli is an incredible jump aircraft reaching 13-14k feet in a similar time to a caravan. The tailgate offers a fantastic view over the beautiful Lake Balaton and the landing area is one of the biggest and best landing areas we have seen, it is HUGE.
Everything is there for you; we jump, eat, sleep all on the DZ and have the place for ourselves for the week.

There are two main areas in which we will be. The Tower Area and the DZ Area.
The Tower is where we eat breakfast and dinner in the aviator restaurant, there are number of accommodation options around the tower as well so some of you may have a shorter walk than others to breakfast. Less than a 10 min walk away is the DZ area where we pack, brief/debrief, enplane and have lunch. There is a café to buy a coffee, some extra food, and a beer at the end of the day. This is also where the remaining accommodation is with plenty of showers & toilets facilities if you have not upgraded to the en-suite option. There are also a few washing machines here as well
The accommodation is based on two people sharing, each room is air-conditioned. There are a limited number of en-suite rooms to upgrade to which will be allocated on a first come first serve basis on registration.

• Meals will be from Sunday dinner through to Saturday breakfast each week, three meals a day Monday - Friday

Your slot on the event is reserved when we receive your deposit of €450.
It is confirmed when we receive the full payment.

Cancellations
If the event runs and you cancel:
If you can arrange for a replacement for your slot, there is no charge.
If you cannot arrange a replacement
• 60 days before you will lose the deposit
• 30 days before you lose 50% of the cost
• 10 days before you lose 100% of the cost

COVID
It does look like we are heading in the right direction, but as we are all now very aware things can still change very quickly. We will remain as flexible as possible & we ask that you try and do the same.

*The Global Situation
As we are all sadly aware things in the Ukraine at present are dreadful. We are trying to monitor the situation as closely as possible and speaking with the DZ, friends and family in Hungary and surrounding countries on a regular basis. We are all hoping that there will be a peaceful outcome to the current situation in Ukraine as soon as possible and our thoughts are with all involved. If, however there are not significant changes, it may become a less viable location for an event. If this is the case will still run and event over the same dates at another European DZ.
As we are all sadly aware things in the Ukraine at present are dreadful. • You must be able to fly a predictable and effective break off
• We will do our best to keep groups at 4:1 but we may need to adapt some group sizes for safety and progression.
• If you miss your groups slot on the Heli, pretty simple, you miss your jump. We aim for a good rotation with 5-7 jumps per day.
• If you are wanting to do your AFF

Prices***
We are all aware that the price of oil has increased hugely in the past few weeks, we and the DZ will do pour very best to fix the cost but there may be a small change in the cost if there continue to be significant changes in the oil prices.

Liability
Skydiving is an inherently high-risk sport. You as a participant are fully aware of the risks involved and assumes full responsibility for possible consequences such as injury or death
It is mandatory to have a valid skydiving sport licence issued by a national skydiving federation & 3rd party liability insurance.
It is mandatory to have travel insurance with medical cover & repatriation valid for skydiving in Hungary.
Participants carry responsibility over their own safety while skydiving during HeliFun2022
Participants are to make their own travel arrangements to Budapest and are advised to take cancellation insurance.
